Arcadia Unified Gives Every Student a Chromebook
Each of the nearly 10,000 students in the Arcadia Unified School District now has their own Chromebook. All middle school and high school students can even bring their Chromebooks home to use. The 1:1 Student to Technology device program began three years and was fully implemented on the first day of school this year.

Right At School Informational Meeting
The Right At School Community Informational Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Holly Avenue Elementary School Auditorium. Right At School is the new before and after-school program that we will be transitioning to in January 2017. Read more here.
Patricia Mattera Named Highland Oaks Elementary School Principal
Patricia Mattera has been selected as the new Principal of Highland Oaks Elementary School. The Arcadia Unified School District Board of Education approved the recommendation of Superintendent Dr. Vannasdall and staff at its most recent meeting on August 9, 2016. Read more here.

On Monday, October 31, Highland Oaks' Student Council will be sponsoring our traditional costume dress-up day in the spirit of the holiday. We will be having a brief costume parade out on the grassy area at 8:40 where the students will march around by grade level. Please click here to find out more information regarding costumes.
